The lions had a wonderful home but the viewing area was, understandably, elevated and separated by water, thus making eye level photography somewhat difficult.This fellow, however, wandered up to the water's edge and paused just long enough (no doubt looking at us as a breakfast snack) for me to get one semi good shot.
I'd love to get closer to these magnificent animals, but there's probably a reason they don't let us anywhere near them.
