Jaaaaaaaag

For those of you who have seen the British (aka the only, or the Original) Top Gear, you know where the title of this post comes from.

If you haven't, here's a link to it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oWoBb2NVfZA

It was sitting next to the Audi, a Bentley and a Lamborghini (which has too many people around to photograph cleanly)

More Medium Format

This is one of the pictures I was waiting for from the many rolls I took. The film had expired in the 80s, yet there was little (if any) effects from age. It must have been stored properly. Kind of unfortunate as I was looking forward to unpredictable effects, but at the same time I'm glad it worked well for some of the shots.

Like this Audi for example. Lightly massaged in PhotoShop.

Balance

Too much monochrome images on the main page, so a splash of colour. I participated in an autocross this weekend as well, and took some outstanding shots of some stunning cars.
The Lotus pictured here is my favourite. But then I've always loved Lotuses.

Car Show

I was invited to a muscle car show a little while back. Most of the cars there, although interesting from a historical standpoint, were packed too close together to get a good image of any one car. This image was the best of the lot, and that's not saying much. It's an infrared shot of dual 4 barrel Holley carbs.

Well it's supposed to be about photography right?

So, here's one. My city, by night. I like the night photography as it hides the decay. A local car dealer next to where I live specializes in Mercedes Benz, and with all the garish neon he has surrounding his lot, it cheapens the rather nice cars he has. Nonetheless, with a macro lens in use, the neon adds to the picture, rather then detracting from it.
