Of Fog and War

This is probably my most favourite picture I've ever taken. From Emerald Isle, early in the AM and quite foggy as you can see. The seagull was on the ground and I could tell as the man approached it was getting ready to take off, I was a tad too late on the trigger to get it just as it was launching itself, but overall I'm extremely pleased with the pic.

Postcard

Nothing special, just a little Church I found on the way out of town. The sky was a brilliant blue, the breeze was just so, and the lighting was perfect. As always, look at the bigger image for better detail.

Blobs!

My favourite Nikon shot, and nearly my favourite shot from the trip. I shot this in colour but it really didn't capture the essence (if I can be so pretentious) of the ice flow.
I'm really starting to like this Nikon! The Ilford film I use is a perfect match. I'm currently shopping for another lens, something with a longer reach, so if you have one, drop me a line.

Fame

I had the distinct pleasure of being chosen to photograph and author for her upcoming novel. This is one of my favourite images. Shot in a local cemetery on a rare bright sunny day in the dead of winter.
Every now and then, everything co-operates just so and the shots turn out exceptionally well. The lighting was perfect, the wind as mild and even the temperature co-operated, more or less.
With her permission, I'll be posting more images in the future.
