Movie set

This would make a good location for a horror film. Something involving Alice Cooper, clowns and Bruce Campbell.

Okay maybe not but I still like the pic.

Oooooooh, pretty!

Great fun (read: A pain in the neck) trying to shoot through hotel glass without getting reflections, dirt, etc in the picture. Now add fireworks (they shot them on weekends over the falls) and water spray and most of the shots didn't turn out.

I have to admit they didn't shoot the fireworks off where I'd expected, so the angle wasn't the greatest, but it still gives the overall idea of what was occuring.

Station

This area would not be out of place in a high end eatery. Except there were no waiters, no food, and of course no people.

I can only just begin to imagine the cost involved in renovating this place. I used to work in the building trade industry, marble, real marble, isn't cheap, and it's a pain to work with. Ditto the Mahogany wood, and the attention to details like the trim around the entryways and the brightwork.

On the other hand, an empty space like this would make a great place to do a photoshoot. Have the people in vintage clothing and we'd be all set!
