Before I went shooting the concert, I read up on proper concert photography, with an emphasis on metal shows.
First Rule: Be Polite
Second Rule: A Bouncer's Word is Law
Third Rule: No Flash Photography
Fourth Rule: Remember Your Depth of Field
Okay, I made that last rule up, but here you can see the advantage of shooting wide open, lead singer is the in focus subject, with the bass player and drummer nicely blurred.
