So much for the camouflage theory.
Stunning animal all the same. Will photograph him again when it snows here next, which should be somewhere around the end of the world.
Being sick takes a lot out of me, so this will be the last post for today. The snowfall in West Virginia was over 1 foot so it was dificult to get clear pictures of anything other than snow covered trees and plants, beautiful as that may seem, but this one angle allowed me a clear view of the small falls.
Delays, delays, nothing but delays. Yeah I've been late in posting, but I've been busy shooting in the Winter weather. Just after the last set was taken we had a light snowfall overnight, making for the perfect time for re-visiting the local cemetery. Here the sun was just starting to break through the clouds, giving me the perfect opportunity for some dramatic sky shots. All taken with my Nikon D1x.
I was most pleased being able to wander about without other people or cars in the way. It was quiet and the snow muffled any sounds. The sun was at the right angle to bring out the shadows and the snow added just the right contrast.
-when dealing with a 1-hour developing store.
It snowed here for a few days straight, which is highly unusual for this area. Despite the potential for good images, after the Falls area I had visited, I really wasn't able to be inspired to shoot in the city, try as I might.
