Something I've been meaning to do

I've been wanting to play a musical instrument for decades, and some years ago I bought a number of guitars, thinking I'd find time to learn. Well that never happened and I ended up giving them away to a friend, and selling the more valuable ones.
Fast forward to today, and my life has changed (for the better!) so with more free time, I picked up a bass guitar and signed up for lessons. This is an Ibanez SR500 in solid mahogany good with active pickups. The sound is stunning, deep rumbling to light tones, and I hope I can do it justice.
Firmly attached to the Ibanez is Ollie, a snow corn snake who was a rescue. It's quite difficult to get snakes to pose properly for the shot and I ended up with a dozen or so outtakes.
Gear used: Nikon D2x, Tamron 17-35mm lens, Manfrotto tripod and studio lights set at 45 degrees from each other.

Spoooooooon!

Her show consisted of 3 performers, Ms. Autumn, and two helpers, done in several parts with lots of costume changes in between. Spoons are very popular in the latter half of the show, and there are reasons for their use, but being exposed to Ms. Autumn's stage show for the first time, I'm not certain what their significance is.
The music is pre-recorded, and Emilie sings along with it, the only instrument on stage was a keyboard, used for the encores. Emilie is hell on wheels with an electric violin, but for whatever reason, didn't use it this time around.

Beauty and the Beast

This is Meredith Bell, from Pennsylvania. Her bass player was a little over eager for the show, and broke his strap, forcing him to play sitting down, or in other odd positions. Here is Mrs. Bell comforting him.
If you get a chance, look her up, she's got a heck of a set of lungs on her.

A Legion Wronged

For the longest time, I wanted to be a bass player. I even bought some nice bass guitars and started taking lessons, but I simply lack the talent for it, or as my friends would say, "your talent lies elsewhere", so they were eventually sold off (the basses, not my friends.)
So it is therefore not surprising that when I visit a concert, I gravitate towards watching the bass player the most.
Unto Thee's bass player is wearing a t-shirt which says "I Wrestled a Bear Once" which I thought might have a punchline on the back (something like, "And All I Got Was This Lousy T-Shirt") but apparently it's a female fronted metalcore band.
